Ishbia, the younger brother of Suns majority owner Mat Ishbia, has an estimated net worth of nearly $5 billion. The Pohlad family, who have owned the Twins for four decades, announced their intention to sell the team in October. Ishbia is a founder of the Chicago private equity firm Shore Capital Partners and owns a 22% stake in United Wholesale Mortgage. Ishbia is an alternate governor of the Suns and Mercury.
