The LA Clippers have signed E.J. Harkless to a training camp contract. Harkless is represented by Harrison Gaines and went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft out of UNLV.  In five Summer League games with the Clippers, Harkless averaged 7.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 16.3 minutes. In 20 G League games last season with the Ontario Clippers, Harkless averaged 11.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 22.6 minutes.

LAS VEGAS – Sean Brady aggressively dismissed the notion he was fraud-checked after losing to Belal Muhammad during a pre-fight news conference Wednesday. Brady (16-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) suffered his first-career loss to Muhammad by TKO at UFC 280. Muhammad (24-3 MMA, 15-3 UFC) went on to defeat Gilbert Burns, then dethrone Leon Edwards to become welterweight champion at UFC 304. Brady’s loss to Muhammad aged well. A cardiac arrhythmia, most likely due to a genetic defect, has been blamed for the death of 21-year-old Simone Roganti, according to a report from the Italian news service ANSA.On the same day, the TDT-Unibet team published an emotional post on social media, recalling that they had signed Roganti to his first pro contract.Pescara prosecutor Luca Sciarretta ordered an autopsy to determine Roganti’s cause of death.
