Northwestern Dominates Miami-Ohio in Season Opener Northwestern’s women and men welcomed Miami-Ohio for a dual meet Saturday and came out on top in both competitions by identical 203-97 scores, winning almost every event on the program. The meet also included a few irregular-distance events, the 400 and 600 freestyle along with the 300 IM. The Orlando Magic have waived guard Javonte Smart. The Magic filled out their 21-player offseason roster by signing center Robert Baker II to an Exhibit 10 contract. Both Baker and Smart are expected to play for the Osceola Magic of the G League this upcoming season. Smart spent part of last season on a two-way contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, before finishing the year with KK Crvena zvezda in Serbia. Baker spent most of last season with the College Park Skyhawks of the G League. Baker also played for Akita Northern Happinets of Japan’s B.League.
