The Detroit Pistons are signing guard Alondes Williams and forward Cole Swider to two-way contracts. Williams had gone to training camp with the LA Clippers, while Swider attended camp with the Indiana Pacers. Williams is a two-year NBA veteran. The 6-foot-4 guard has played with the Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat. The city of Boston plans to honor NBA Hall of Famer and Celtics legend Bill Russell by renaming the North Washington Street Bridge after the civil rights activist, the city announced Friday.
