Friday night’s Game 4 between the Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty averaged a 0.9 rating with 1.67 million viewers on ESPN. It was the most-watched WNBA Finals game in 24 years. It was also the most-watched game in Lynx history. The Liberty would beat the Lynx in Game 5 to win the WNBA Finals. WNBA players also opted out of the current collective bargaining agreement on Monday.

The New Orleans Pelicans and fourth-year guard Trey Murphy III have agreed to a four-year, $112 million rookie contract extension with the franchise, sources informed ESPN’s Shams Charania on Monday. The deal includes no incentives and no player option. Per Spotrac, Murphy is entering the final season of his current four-year, $14.78 million rookie contract.
