THE Philadelphia homecoming for Jaron Ennis proved to be a successful one after the 27-year-old stopped David Avanesyan in five rounds to retain his IBF welterweight world title. The Dallas Mavericks have signed Emanuel Miller to a non-guaranteed training camp contract. Miller is playing Summer League with the Mavs and is expected to join them for the preseason. Miller went undrafted out of TCU at the 2024 NBA Draft. The 6-foot-6 forward averaged 15.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for the Horned Frogs as a senior.
