Charley Hull fired a five-under par 67 to obtain the outright lead after the first round of the Women’s Open at St Andrews. The English star went out to tackle the Old Course in the afternoon wave alongside world number one Nelly Korda and defending champion Lilia Vu. A civil lawsuit against former NBA player Dwight Howard alleging sexual assault and battery has been dropped, according to a court filing obtained by ESPN. The dismissal came Monday in Gwinnett County Court in Georgia and was filed by Stephen Harper, who initially filed the lawsuit against Howard in July 2023. In Monday’s filing, Harper dismissed all the claims he had asserted against Howard with prejudice. In legal terms, this means he cannot refile a lawsuit on those claims. Flynn Crisci Joins Former Coach Sam Pitter on Miami Ohio Staff Miami of Ohio on Wednesday added former Pitt swimmer Flynn Crisci to the coaching staff, reuniting with his former Panthers coach, Sam Pitter. Crisci swam at William & Mary before transferring to Pitt and finishing his eligibility with a fifth year at the University of Tennessee.
