The Toronto Raptors and center Bruno Fernando amended his contract before he made the opening night roster. Fernando’s contract was set to become fully guaranteed on opening night. That was amended to becoming guaranteed on the league-wide date of January 10. This was reportedly the difference in Fernando making the team or not.
