The NBA still has not made a decision about the future of NBA TV, according to John Ourand of Puck (h/t Sports Media Watch). NBA TV currently televises regular season and playoff games to out-of-market fans. TNT, which operates NBA TV, will stop broadcasting games after this season. The channel’s Monday night broadcasts will be taken over by Peacock. NBA TV, which was in 65 million homes a decade ago, is now available in just 35 million homes.
