Zafar Mohsen’s PFL debut victory is now off the books. MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin confirmed with Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation Chief Mike Mazzulli that Mohsen tested positive for a banned substance in tests following his unanimous decision win over Husein Kadimagomaev at this past October’s PFL Battle of the Giants event. Mohsen’s test results included drostanolone, a prohibited anabolic steroid. He did not dispute the result and receives a one-year suspension and a $2,000 fine. Alejandro Valverde could be the front-runner of a series of candidates for a men’s national team road coach at the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation.
