Panathinaikos confirmed their interest in signing Omer Yurtseven, though details of a contract still need to “align.”
“It’s true what’s being written. There’s nothing to hide: he is one of the players we’re interested in.
“Contact was made; we inquired just to get an idea of whether it’s realistic or not. But there’s still something that needs to align for that transfer to happen,” said Panathinaikos sports director Sani Bećirović.
It was reported last week that the two sides had agreed in principle to a deal.
Yurtseven also met with the Knicks earlier this summer.
