Rudy Gobert is dealing with an undisclosed left ring finger injury, he revealed following France’s win over Canada on Tuesday.
Gobert played just three minutes in the game for “several reasons.”
“There were several reasons why I didn’t play, between the matchups but also what can happen in training, with the injuries,” said Gobert.
France coach Vincent Collet confirmed that Gobert had an MRI on the finger and was cleared to play.
Gobert was seen wearing a splint on the finger.
