MMA Fighting has results for PFL 2: Higo vs. Alves, the PFL event taking place on Friday night at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando.

Friday’s event is the second in the PFL’s 2025 World Tournament, which hosts eight-man tournaments across eight different weight classes. Friday’s card hosts the opening round of action for the bantamweight and women’s flyweight tournaments.

In the main event, former Bellator title challenger Leandro Higo takes on Marcirley Alves in a bantamweight bout. Higo was originally set to face Magomed Magomedov but Magomedov withdrew; however, on Thursday, replacement fighter Josh Rettinghouse was not cleared to compete, so Alves was called in from a scheduled alternate bout on the undercard.

In the co-main event, former Bellator champion Liz Carmouche faces off with Ilara Joanne in the women’s flyweight bout.
