Prince’s Golf Club – have announced its involvement as a host venue for The Hagen54, a unique and historic challenge celebrating the legendary Jim Barnes and Walter Hagen’s famous three-course feat in Kent.

Taking place July 23 – 24, 2025, the Hagen54 will showcase the iconic links of Royal Cinque Ports, Royal St. George’s and Prince’s Golf Club, delivering an unforgettable 54-hole experience for participants in one day.

This exclusive event provides golfers with a truly unique opportunity to retrace the steps of legends Jim Barnes and Walter Hagen, who famously played all three Kent links courses in a single day back in 1920.

HOW WILL YOU PLAY THE HAGEN54

Participants will embark on this iconic journey, beginning with 11 holes on the Deal course at Royal Cinque Ports, followed by 10 holes at Royal St. George’s, before crossing over to Prince’s to complete all 18 holes and returning to the starting hole.

The day concludes by finishing the remainder of the holes on the other two Championship courses, creating a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience this historic golfing adventure.

“To be one of the three venues for The Hagen54 is an honour as we celebrate the rich golfing heritage of this Kent coastline,” said Rob McGuirk, General Manager of Prince’s Golf Club.

“The southeast of England has a storied history of thrilling championships and iconic winners on some of the most famous layouts in the world.

The Hagen54 looks forward to continuing that legacy each year with golfers from near and far.”

The itinerary begins with an optional round of golf at either Prince’s or Royal Cinque Ports on Wednesday, July 23, followed by a welcome reception and BBQ at Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club.
