TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — After another stellar regular season earned Clemson a home regional for the second straight year and the fifth time since 2016, the 2024 Tigers finally threw a pesky monkey off their backs by winning a regional for the first time since 2010. And though Clemson fell short of Omaha after losing two wild and competitive home games against Florida in super regionals, it is clear that Erik Bakich’s program has big-time momentum and will remain a perennial threat to get back to the College World Series.
