Kaitlin Sandeno Hogan announced an addition coming to the Hogan family.
Sandeno and her husband Peter Hogan announced that they are expecting a baby boy.
“Baby Boy Hogan coming this Spring 💙🙏🏼,” Kaitlin Sandeno Hogan wrote on social media.
Kaitlin Sandeno Hogan was a two-time Olympian and four-time Olympic medalist, proving to be one of the most versatile Olympians in U.S. swimming history. She won gold as part of the 800 free relay in 2004, when she also won the silver in the 400 IM and bronze in the 400 free. In 2000, she earned a bronze in the 800 free.
She has never strayed far from the sport. She has been one of the master of ceremonies for the U.S. Olympic Trials and other big USA Swimming meets as well as hosting USA Swimming’s Deck Pass Live show. She has been on the pool deck for every trials since 2000 in one way or another.
Sandeno Hogan also made history as general manager of the DC Trident in the International Swimming League, one of the first female GMs in the history of team sports.
She released her memoir in 2020, diving into her swimming career and post-swimming career, including what she has done with her platform to give back to the swimming community.
