Evansville had a breakthrough 2024 season that saw the Aces win the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament to reach a regional for the first time since 2006, win the regional with a victory over host East Carolina in a winner-take-all game and push eventual national champion Tennessee to a third game in the Knoxville Super Regional.
