Drake Powell is leaving North Carolina to enter the 2025 NBA draft. Powell is considered one of the best perimeter defenders in the draft class.
Powell averaged 7.4 points and 3.4 rebounds while shooting 37.9 percent on three-pointers in 25.6 minutes in his freshman season at North Carolina.
Powell was a McDonalds All-American and at one point was a projected top-10 pick. Powell is now considered a fringe first round pick.
