Jayson Tatum left the Boston Celtics’ 113-95 win over the Sacramento Kings in the third quarter with a sprained left ankle.
Tatum said after the game that the ankle was “just sore” and that the Celtics are going to be “cautious.”
Joe Mazzulla was optimistic about the prognosis after the game.
“I literally just asked him how he was doing, and he said, ‘OK,'” Mazzulla said. “He’ll do anything and everything to make sure he gets better.”
Tatum had 25 points at the time of the injury.
