Mikal Bridges and Tom Thibodeau met before the New York Knicks’ win over the Portland Trail Blazers to clear the air over Bridges’ comments about playing too many minutes.
The meeting was described as “productive,” according to Ian Begley of SNY.
Bridges said earlier in the day that he had discussed the issue of getting more rest with Thibodeau, adding that the minutes were “sometimes not fun on the body.”
Thibodeau said that the two had never had a conversation about playing time.
Bridges is averaging a career-high 37.8 minutes per game with the Knicks.
