Anthony Davis and Dereck Lively II are both progressing toward an in-season return, sources tell Marc Stein.
Davis played some 2-on-2 over the weekend for the first time since the adductor injury sidelined him indefinitely. Lively is working his way back from a right ankle stress fracture.
The Dallas Mavericks, however, are currently 10th in the Western Conference and would need to win two games to even qualify for the playoffs where they would be massive underdogs against the Oklahoma City Thunder now that they will be without Kyrie Irving as well.
