The 2025 TYR Pro Swim Series began Day 2 from Westmont with a full prelims session of 10 events – five men and five women.
The session set up some interesting head-to-head battles in the finals, especially the women’s 100 breaststroke and 200 butterfly.

But McIntosh put together a 2:06.40, well ahead of Smith’s 2:10.56, though who knows what either has in the tank for the finals since both were so far ahead of the field.
Rachel Klinker was the third seed in 2:12.09.
In the men’s race, Trenton Julian claimed the top seed in 1:58.73, just ahead of Patrick Branon (1:58.93).
