FHSAA State Champion Lily Doyle Selects Duke For 2026
NEW COMMIT: Duke University is putting together an all-star 2026 recruiting class, and its latest verbal commitment comes from Junior National qualifier Lily Doyle out of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
She will join Quinn White, Addison Bittel and Riley Anderson in Durham as a member of the Blue Devils’ Class of 2030.
Regarding her commitment, she said:

A freestyler, Doyle does her club swimming with Planet Swim Aquatics and most recently placed 20th in the mile at Juniors East. She finished fourth in the 800m free, fifth in the 1500m free and seventh in the 400m free at Richmond Futures this past summer.
Her best times include:
- 200 free – 1:50.43
- 500 free – 4:52.00
- 1000 free – 10:01.47
- 1650 free- 17:03.76
Currently a junior at Ponte Vedra High School, Doyle took fourth in the 500 free and fifth in the 200 free at the 2024 Florida 3A State Championships. She won the 500 free as a sophomore.
The Blue Devils finished fifth at the 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Championships. Their 779.5 points was their best performance ever. Duke also finished 16th at the NCAA Championships, its highest in school history.
