GREENSBORO, N.C. — UNCW has been road warriors this fall. It played its exhibition games against UNC Greensboro and Virginia on the road, and it played its scrimmages at local high schools.
But there’s a good reason for that. More upgrades are underway at Brooks Field in Wilmington, with this round bringing a new playing surface, new dugouts and a new configuration for the outfield wall.
