Although Creighton did not make a postseason appearance a year ago, the Bluejays went 35-17 overall and had the 67th-best RPI at season’s end. They also did not lose one single midweek game and accumulated three wins against their in-state rivals, Nebraska, and two against a visiting Coastal Carolina squad. They accumulated series wins against Portland and at Stanford and went 2-1 at the Battle of the Ballpark in Sugar Land, Texas, with wins against Air Force and Army.
