What kind of rider wins here? Well here are most of the recent winners. The answer to the question will stare you in the face: Lutsenko, Formolo, Bax, Rebellin, Cobrelli, Moscon, Pozzato.
Okay. Are there any of those type of riders in this race? How about Hirschi, Wellens, Christien, Fischer-Black, Bax (notice that I’ve only written down UAE riders so far) Gregoire, Aranburu, Lutsenko, Laurence, Bettiol, Dunbar, Right Yates, and many many more.
Okay. Who will win here? Before I say who, let me say that one of the fun things about these end of season races is the transfer factor where riders moving to another team might not have the best intersts of their teammates at heart. And so it might be with UAE as they have three of their seven riders moving to other teams. That said, Marc Hirschi is gonna win. Is that how you do a jinx? Asking for a friend.
