Chris Bosh played in a basketball game on Saturday for the first time since 2016 when he was forced to retire due to his blood clot condition. Bosh was only planning on attending Goran Dragic’s send off game in Slovenia, but he was inspired to actually play once he saw that his former Toronto Raptors teammate Rasho Nesterovic was also playing.
“Once I saw Rasho Nesterovic get out there, I said, ‘OK, I could go up and down a couple of times,'” Bosh laughed. “Rasho’s great, we’re all older now, but those years in Toronto, they kind of brought me back.
“I just wanted to share the court. I said, ‘OK, I have to get out here and have some fun,'” Bosh smiled.
Bosh was teammates with the Miami Heat with Dragic before his medical retirement.
