- Tuesday, July 23rd – Sunday, July 28th
- Yekaterinburg, Russia
- LCM (50m)
- Entries/Results
While athletes around the world are descending upon Paris, France for the 2024 Olympic Games, Russian swimmers are getting prepared to race at the Russian Swimming Cup.
Taking place July 23rd through July 28th, the Russian Swimming Cup in Yekaterinburg is an opportunity for the nation’s swimmers to showcase their talents outside of the Games where they are not allowed to compete as a nation.
As a refresher, US-based Russian swimmer Yuliya Efimova was among athletes granted permission to race in Paris as ‘individual neutral athletes.’ However, 32-year-old Efimova missed nabbing a qualification time in order to do so.
Instead, she is among swimmers taking full advantage of the domestic racing opportunity, along with big guns Evgeny Rylov, Kliment Kolesnikov and Evgenia Chikunova who are entered in multiple events at the competition.
Below are key entries and be sure to look for daily recaps once action gets underway.
